This guide does not ask you to read Revelation once, carefully, and be finished. It asks you to go through parts of it five times, each time with one thing in view. The skills are cumulative: the second is hard to do until you have the first, and the third is not worth much without both. The fourth walks back into the first carrying everything the middle two gave you — this is a spiral, not a ladder. Then the fifth asks what all the reading was for, and answers it.

One notebook, for all five skills, for however long this takes. Not an app and not loose sheets — something you can carry to church and still open in a year.
Almost everything here produces something. A promise traced to the place the book pays it. A symbol taken apart into the four Old Testament passages inside it. A page where this letter obviously has one of the seven cities in view. None of that is worth much scattered across handouts. Gathered in one place it becomes a record, and reading that record back a year from now is where a good deal of the value is.
Date each sitting. Write down what you found — and also what you went looking for and did not find. A wrong answer you worked out yourself is worth keeping.
